AMA Tile Backer Board is a lightweight building panel used under tiles, wood flooring, heating systems, and wall or floor structures in bathrooms, kitchens, and basements. It is fully waterproof and helps keep areas dry and well insulated.
Made from HCFC-free XPS foam, the board is strong, durable, and easy to carry and install. It bonds well to most wall and floor surfaces, works with many types of subfloors, and comes in different sizes and thicknesses. The board reduces heat loss, helps prevent mold and mildew, and can be easily cut with a utility knife.
